To develop their European culture, and prepare our second students mobility to France our students have been tested on their knowledge. Then, after analysing their results, they realized they needed to to develop a better understanding of their partner's culture and European institutions. So they interviewed each other in mixed teams on different topics, collected their answers and done some research. They wrote articles they gathered in an online magazine: https://www.canva.com/design/DADf6R9vMHY/view

The Italian students have visited our partners' culture in several ways: posters with symbols, recipes, drama,everyday life scenes...and so on. They have had a lot of fun!! :-)
EVALUATION
For formative assessment, we used web tools like Kahoot, Quizzes, Plickers
For summative assessment, we applied pre and post surveys;
In order to choose the best activities to assess our students culture on Europe, we tested them before the activities took place. Results showed that more than half the students lack knowledge about primary elements on their partners' culture on topics as basic as identity, art or cultural heritage. The challenge was to have them improve their culture. They interviewed their partners, wrote articles for our online magazine. Then during the mobility to France, they attended workshops on EU and managed language workshops. At the end of the week, we assessed their new skills/ Here are the results of the pre and post evaluations tests, and the evaluations made about the mobility:
TURKEY
Before we start this theme, we evaluated students knowledge about Europe and European Organizations with a pre survey. The correct answer rate was 49.30%. After the activities we did about European history, organizations, we did a post survey. The rate raised to 63.52%. So we managed to teach students about Europe with an increase to 14.22%
